The
St. George’s Church popularity called as the yellow church is sited in
the city which is one of the very old churches located in Uttar Pradesh
as it was established in the year 1835 AD. The yellow church is one of
the best examples of British church architecture in 18th century which
follows a typical Italian church style architecture and the spread of
Christianity in Banda in 18th century. The church was built for the
attending prayers and regular religious practice for the British
officials and the families lived in Banda. The yellow church was built
by the CNI i.e. Churches of India. For more than 170 years the window
pans of the yellow church has not caused any damaged and is still rust
free.Nawab Tank in Banda is yet another popular tourist attractions which was built by Nawab of Banda and was named after him. Formerly the Nawab tank was called as Shankar Sarovar. The renowned Kalinjer fort is located close to the border of Banda city towards its South. The Khatri Pahar temple on a hill top dedicated to Angleshwari Goddess is another popular places of worship that is located very close to the city. The Nagar Park in Banda is a very good picnic spot which brings in numerous visitors every day.

The Bhuragarh fort on the banks of Ken River is another famous monument in Banda which was constructed on brown stones in 17th century by Raja Guman Singh. The Natbali Ka Mela conducted in this fort attracts tourist by in and around Banda district every year. The fort also used as an important venue during Indian freedom struggle. The fort is an awesome spot to view sunset.
